Friendly and competent hosts, everything was very cozy. We did a donkey hike through the beautiful Braubacher Forest with wonderful views of the Marksburg and the Rhine. Very good and cooperative donkeys. Highly Recommended!

Great atmosphere, nice people

Very nice pony farm. The small courtyard is idyllically nestled in a valley between Braubach and Hinterwald. In the immediate vicinity of the city of Koblenz with its famous sights and its historic old town. Access is possible via the federal road B42. From the A3 motorway, exit at Montabaur via Bndesstraße B49 towards Bad Ems / Koblenz to Lahnstein. Then change to the B42 in the direction of Rüdesheim, to the Braubach Süd exit, then follow the main road until the road bends 90 degrees at the end of the town, turn left here and after about 300m turn right towards Hinterwald. Then you will find the Ponyhof after about 1500m on the left with a small, narrow entrance to the site. After parking our car, we looked around a bit and our daughter started to stroke the ponies and donkeys. After being greeted by a member of staff who we spoke to, we were saddled up to ride a pony. She kindly explained to us which paths we can use and off we went. We now led the pony with our daughter on a forest path that runs on a former railway embankment of Nassauische Kleinbahn AG in the forest. The Nassauische Kleinbahn once connected the towns of Zollhaus via St. Goarshausen with Lahnstein on a 77-kilometer route. A path branched off from Braubach, which led to Naststätten. On the trees, small signs with a silver or white locomotive on a blue background and signs on some trees with information about the history of the Nassauische Kleinbahn remind of the days long past. After leaving, our daughter was allowed to lead the pony back into the stable. Pony riding is possible daily from 10:00 a.m. (Tuesday closed), except when it rains. 1 hour of pony riding costs € 10.00 for children up to 14 years. The farm owns 16 horses and ponies which are reliable and balanced partners for their riders. They live in the open stable or paddock boxes or in the pasture. The inn opens at 3:00 p.m. and offers a small, home-style kitchen. It is also possible to book a relaxing stay in the middle of nature in one of the 4 rustic guest rooms. All rooms have their own shower and the toilet is right next to the room. The farm owns 16 horses and ponies which are reliable and balanced partners for their riders. They live in the open stable or paddock boxes or in the pasture. The other offers of the farm include: beginner riding courses, day rides, rider taster weekends, vacation leisure for children from 5 years or donkey walks. Quaint! Delicious home cooking. An atmosphere like 'Holidays on Immenhof', just beautiful! Pony riding for children on a beautiful circuit through the woods and along the stream. Very nice attentive operator!
